We consider this a service. Nanna makes the weaves because of her love to arts and horses. Our goldsmiths are professionals and all items are hallmarked and meet the industry standards.
Metal parts and their attachment to the weave have a lifetime guarantee. The weave is made of natural material provided by the customer and we can not guarantee it's strenght after the product has been shipped.
Weave is done from the hair provided, unless agreed otherwise. We may add some matching hair to give support to the weave in case the hair is too weak by itself. This may be the case with young or very old horses.
We do our best to have the item shipped within 5 weeks of confirmation. Production of nannasalmi horsehair jewellery is a result of a manual process and collaboration of several artists and craftsmen. Something can go wrong and the work has to be started over; weave can be destroyed, casted part can have a fault that shows up only in the final polish or a stone can crack.
If something like this happens, we will notify you of "Technical delay" by an email. Usually an incident like this will cause a delay of maximum 2 weeks. If you wish to give us instuctions concerning later than expected delivery, please contact us immediately after the notice. We will do our best to keep the delay as short as possible.
When the order is processed by PayPal, credit card numbers are encrypted using a secure server. Equisetum do not process or have access to your card details.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.ecc.fi/en-GB/distance-selling/
We will refund your money to the value of the goods returned, provided all goods are returned in the same condition - unworn, unsoiled, with labels and tags intact and in the original packaging.
Custom work i.e. the cost of weaving is not refundable. On silver, this is 40% of the value and on gold and white gold 20%.
If any items are returned and no exchange is required, whilst in most circumstances, the customer will be refunded in full for total cost of metal parts, postage cannot be refunded.
Please notify us beforehand, if you wish to make a return within 7 days of receipt, to let us know why you are returning goods. Once you have received a return notice and approval, returned goods should be sent to us immediately by recorded or registered post addressed to our address in Finland as shown on this site. We cannot be held responsible for losses in the postal system.
Unless the product is faulty, delivery and return charges are non-refundable and will be the responsibility of the customer.
Refunds will be processed within 30 days once we have checked the returned goods. This will be via your original method of payment. Any correspondence relating to this must be via email to: info@nannasalmi.com.
